Barks N' Brews in Macon

Is it really happy hour without your pup? Definitely not! And, luckily, Barks N’ Brews in Macon agrees with that philosophy. They welcome humans and their fluffy friends to their Rotary Park-adjacent location. Keep reading for more details!

About the park

What if you and Fido could make new friends at the same time? And what if you could enjoy a delicious drink then too?

Now, it’s possible—and that’s thanks to Kate Lambert. As the owner of Barks N’ Brews in Macon, she was inspired by other dog parks. After a year of hard work, she’s finally created her own.

The grand opening

Barks N’ Brews opened recently in September. It had a dog-gone good first day too! Canine and human attendees got in for free, where they were greeted with live music, raffles and giveaways, and dog treats.

What does the park feature?

A bar and a dog park all in one place! It’s a simple premise—but it’s got a lot of extras to offer too. When you visit Barks N’ Brews, look out for cool features like:

  • Live music events;
  • A dog fountain;
  • Employed “ruferees,” who will keep peace among the pups;
  • A 1.5-acre fenced outdoor space;
  • Water hoses and tubs, so your fluffy friends don’t overheat;
  • Canine agility equipment;
  • Airstreams, where you can order wine, seltzers, beer, and non-alcoholic options;
  • Picnic tables;
  • And more.
