Pearl Passionate Cuisine & Cocktails

Are you craving a summer vacation that includes exotic food and a cool ambiance? Macon residents needn’t go far to find just that at Pearl Passionate Cuisine & Cocktails. In fact, they just need to head downtown!

Pearl Passionate Cuisine & Cocktails

One of Macon’s newest eateries opened their doors to the public on June 7th. Owner and head chef Ashley Doolin hopes diners will leave their worries behind and embrace that “vacation-destination” feel the Pearl sets out to create.

From the eye-catching—yet neutral—color scheme to the coastal décor touches throughout, Pearl Passionate Cuisine & Cocktails makes one thing clear from the beginning. “Passionate” is more than just a part of the name!

An attention to detail went into every aspect of the new European-style bistro, including the menu.

The menu

Diners can expect Pearl Passionate Cuisine & Cocktails to dish up flavors from around the world. Think Italy, France, the Caribbean, Cuba and varying specialties found across the U.S. too.

For example, last week’s special featured a taste of Hawaii’s Big Island. Instead of flying to Hawaii to enjoy a Kona Roasted Pork Sandwich, you could have hit the Pearl in downtown Macon!

According to Facebook, the Kona Roasted Pork Sandwich featured slow-roasted Kona-coffee rubbed sliced pork topped with pineapple-mango-sweet pepper relish, red onion and Huli Huli sauce on toasted Hawaiian bread.

Other unique menu items include starters like shrimp and scallop ceviche with plantains and salads such as Blackberry Grilled Chicken Salad.

What’s more, dessert is always a house-made bread pudding that varies from day-to-day. One day customers will be treated to a maple bacon bread pudding with maple cream to the Mexican Hot Chocolate Bread Pudding, for instance.
