About Longleaf Distillery in Macon
Spearheading the distillery is a duo of owners, Will Robinson, formerly of Robinson Home Interior Design, and David Thompson of Piedmont Construction Group. The micro-distillery is the realized vision of the business partners, who told reporters it is a very creative and analytical job.
Longleaf Distillery in Macon is located in a renovated 5,000-square-foot space. This distillery includes a large open-space bar area, a tasting room, an outdoor patio and a large production area. The open-space bar area in the front of the establishment offers bar seating, table seating and even lounge seating for easy hangouts with friends!
The tasting room doubles as both a meeting and event space. The room features a few tables and chairs and offers a look into the production area. Here you can see the two large stills, “Big Richard” and “Rodney Dangerstill.”
The menu
When visiting, you will find a large vertical board to the right of the bar that lists what’s bottled and available to purchase and take home. For example, their Longleaf Vodka can be purchased for $22 a bottle.
Signed with Prime Wine & Spirits to distribute Longleaf Vodka, Southland Gin, Southland Gin Navy Strength and Evergreen Alpine Liqueur, this new spot offers an array of craft cocktails. Including their house cocktails, the Fountain of Youth, Bless Up, John Daily, Midnight Dew, and local favorite, Cafe Romano.
In addition, classic cocktails include a Martini Your Way, Gimlet, Hanky Panky, Cosmopolitan, Old Fashioned and Sazerac. They also offer mocktails and other non-alcoholic options such as Cucumber Mint Collins, Raspberry Sour and carbonated beverages like Coke, Diet Coke, Ginger Ale, Ginger Beer and Tonic.

Location
Head on over to 664 2nd St. in Macon to indulge in all the spirits that Longleaf Distillery has to offer. They are open on Sunday and Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. The distillery is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
